Owner and Director
Debbie took over the boutique back in 2007 when she came in to buy her eldest daughters wedding dress – she brought a wedding dress and the entire shop!! Debbie has a passion for the bridal industry and loves what she does, which shows in the care and compassion she shows to each and every bride that walks through the door. She has a wealth of knowledge of what works, being a seamstress herself she is great at advising brides on tweaks and her honest approach gives brides the confidence to trust Wedding Belles with one of the most important purchases they may make. Debbie has been married since 1981 and has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren, the eldest granddaughters do like to pop in sometimes to see the newest dresses and tiaras! Creating a family feel at Wedding Belles is very important to Debbie and she loves to get to know our brides and their families.
Beth
Director and Senior Bridal Consultant
Beth is Debbie’s daughter and joined the family business in 2019 after having her second daughter. She has a background in beauty therapy and has always enjoyed working with people and helping to make people feel special and relaxed so loves it when a brides face lights up when they find the one! Beth loves to hear a proposal story and all about your wedding plans so feel free to tell her all about them! When Beth isn’t helping brides she can be found working away behind the scenes keeping the website and social media up to date. Beth has 2 lovely daughters and has been married since 2013 and of course got her beautiful dress from Wedding Belles!
Jeanette
Bridal and Occasion wear Consultant
Jeanette joined the Wedding Belles team in 2018 and is wonderful at making our brides and their families feel special. She loves nothing more than when a mother of the bride or groom goes away feeling amazing in an outfit she’s helped them to find. She will have you trying lots on and is great at knowing what suits any shape or size. Jeanette has known Debbie for years, in fact they both met at secondary school and have been friends ever since! She loves to chat to you and is great at listening to what you are looking for in your dream wedding dress. Jeanette has been married since 1982 and has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren who she loves to look after.
Helen
Bridal and Occasion wear Consultant
Helen has been a part of the Wedding Belles team since 2022 . She met Debbie when she bought her gorgeous Tea Length bridal gown from Wedding belles back in 2010. Helens warm, friendly smile is an asset to our team and helps brides relax as soon as they walk through the door. She has a passion for helping brides bring their bridal style to life and is also behind a lot of our wonderful window displays. Helen likes a giggle and is always quick to make mums feel at ease at their occasion wear appointments. Helen also works part time as a sports teacher and loves all things outdoors with her husband, daughter, chickens and 2 dogs.
